I am 34 years young. Grown up in the south of Munich, I have always been heavily influenced by the Alps. Eight years ago, I picked up the first camera to take my newly found hobby to the mountains and take photos of my friends. It was not long before capturing special moments in the Alps became a fundamental passion for me.
In the meanwhile, I moved closer to the Alps, which allows me to spend my time on the mountain in addition to do photography fulltime. For about more than 6 years now I work worldwide and successfull as a freelance photographer in the sectors of Action Sport, Event, Outdoor and Commercial.
In the recent years I had the chance to be an official event photographer for the freeski, snowboard and mountain bike events Audi Nines. I also worked as an official team photographer for the German Salomon Freeski Team from 2010 to 2015.
In addition, I followed my friends of Freeski-Crew.com as far as possible in search of outstanding photos. This led to numerous photo publications in magazines around the world. Also, I won the titles “iF3 Best Powder Turn 2013”, “iF3 Photographer of the Year 2013”, the “ISPO Award 2013” and placed in the top 50 at the Red Bull Illume 2013 and finally won the public voting category in 2015.
My customers now include among others companies like BMW, BMW Financial Services, Allianz SE, Audi, Markers / Völkl, Atomic, UVEX / Alpina and many more. For more info please have a look at my portfolio.
